Additional information submitted: The submissions document states that mixed development is possible. Natural screening to the west is proposed to soften the visual impact.
District Council initial comments: Campton is identified in the emerging Core Strategy as a Small Village. Allocations will only be considered here if there is an exceptional need for development. A development of this scale is unlikely to fit with the approach of the Core Strategy. This site is within the floodplain. In general, development should avoid the floodplain.
